Aug 15, 2026

Effective date: August 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LipSyncTool ("LipSyncTool," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you visit lipsynctool.com, create an account, upload media, generate content, make a purchase, or contact us.

Information We Collect

Account and authentication information

When account features are enabled, we may collect your name, email address, profile image, verification records, and account identifiers. If you sign in with Google or another identity provider, we receive the profile information that provider shares according to your authorization. We do not receive your identity-provider password.

User content and generation data

To provide lip sync features, we may process images, video clips, faces, audio, voice recordings, scripts, prompts, generation settings, thumbnails, and generated results. We also process technical task information such as model name, provider task identifier, status, errors, timestamps, and credit usage.

You should only upload content that you have the right and consent to use. Uploaded work is not intended for the public examples gallery unless you explicitly submit it and it is approved for publication.

Payment and billing information

When paid features are enabled, we collect order, subscription, product, currency, payment status, billing email, invoice, and payment-provider identifiers. Card and other payment credentials are processed by the selected payment provider. LipSyncTool is not designed to store complete card numbers or card security codes.

Usage, device, and log information

We may collect browser and device type, operating system, IP address, user agent, referral information, pages visited, feature interactions, request timestamps, security events, and diagnostic logs. Analytics is only loaded when an analytics service is configured.

Cookies and local storage

We use necessary cookies or local storage for authentication, security, preferences, and service operation. If optional analytics or advertising technology is enabled, we will provide any consent controls required by applicable law.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide, maintain, and secure the service;
  • authenticate users and manage accounts;
  • upload media, create generation tasks, deliver results, and manage credits;
  • process orders, subscriptions, refunds, and billing support;
  • prevent fraud, impersonation, abuse, unauthorized access, and policy violations;
  • troubleshoot failures and improve reliability and product usability;
  • respond to support, privacy, legal, and rights-holder requests;
  • comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers only as needed to operate the service, including:

  • Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, security, and storage services;
  • database and infrastructure providers;
  • AI model providers that process generation inputs and outputs;
  • payment processors such as Stripe, PayPal, or Creem when enabled;
  • email and identity providers when those features are enabled;
  • analytics or support providers when configured;
  • professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.

The active providers may change as the service evolves. We will update this policy when a change materially affects how personal information is handled.

Public Examples

Private account content is not licensed for public display merely because it was uploaded or generated. If you choose to submit a result to the public examples gallery, we may review it for safety, rights, quality, and suitability. You may request removal of an approved example by contacting us. Removal from our gallery does not guarantee deletion of copies independently saved by third parties while it was public.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including service delivery, security, dispute resolution, accounting, and legal compliance. Retention periods may differ for source media, generated results, failed tasks, account records, security logs, and transaction records.

Where available, you may delete content from your account. You may also request account or personal-data deletion. Some transaction, fraud-prevention, backup, or legal records may be retained when required or permitted by law. We plan to use storage lifecycle rules to remove expired temporary files.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls, encrypted transport, restricted secrets, and signed or access-controlled media delivery where appropriate. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

International Processing

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for international transfers.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children

The service is not intended for children who cannot legally consent to data processing in their jurisdiction. Do not upload the face, voice, or personal information of a minor unless you have appropriate authority and the use is lawful and safe.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email where appropriate.
